About Fred

About Fred Prasuhn

I grew up where money was tight, and the strikes came every other year.

Dad’s union hit picket lines on a regular schedule, and we learned early what a paycheck does and does not cover. That experience, and a desire to help others, is what brought me to this work.

Fred Prasuhn Owner — Financial Services with Grits, LLC

I’m a licensed financial services professional with a simple mission: helping families learn about the New Art of Living, a philosophy and a way of living. I sit down with people to show them how to start where they are and work toward a better future.

Learning is the heartbeat I have. I try to learn from everything I encounter, and then I take that knowledge and apply it to life. I’m energized when I get to share with others and help them learn — that’s a foundation I carry for life. I’m willing to help you and share what I know.

Approach

Education First. Always.

The New Art of Living is more a way of thinking for families than a list of products. Every conversation starts with financial literacy: how compounding interest works, where risk lives, and what taxes actually do to a dollar over the years.

It’s all about you learning about finances. That’s the thread through every conversation — education first, situation second, staying relaxed and learning the whole way through.

The New Art of Living

One number. Three rules. Three goals.

Deliberately simple, because the point is for you to leave understanding how your money actually works.

10%

Save 10% of every paycheck

Or start with any amount. The point is to start. Compounding interest does the rest.

3rules

Compounding · Risk · Tax

The three forces that decide what your money actually does over time.

3goals

Protect · Replace · Build

Protecting income, replacement income, and generational or legacy wealth.

Business Partners

Interested in Doing What Fred Does?

Most business partners start with a simple first consultation. They see the benefit in the New Art of Living and want to help others, so they begin the process and continue to grow. The work is service-driven: helping others learn and grow. If you read this and think, “I’d like to do what Fred does,” book a regular consultation. The business-partner conversation looks a lot like the client one: framework first, decision second.
